The Skinny: Edelweiss roars back to the scene with their new EP, titled Philadelphia. Comprised of singer/guitarist Niko Porlier, bassist Tony Young, and Drummer Lexi Campion, this EP represents the next stage for a group looking to build on their early success. Stream the new album below!
Since the band’s initial formation in 2010, Edelweiss has gone from playing basement shows in their hometown of Stroudsburg, PA to performing at the CMJ Music Festival. In their five years as a band, Edelweiss has released a self-titled Japanese exclusive via Bullion Records, participated in 104.5’s Live at Five series, and receive accolades from Alternative Press and The Deli Magazine among many others.
Their latest EP was recorded at Headroom Studios with Joe Reinhart of Hop Along and Joyce Manor. Philadelphia is another step forward in their particular brand of punchy yet atmospheric post-punk.
