The Skinny: Pennsylvania progressive metalcore outfit, Skeyes, has announced that they have signed with Imminence Records. Guitarist Jesse Cease commented on the signing by stating, “We are really excited to officially be a part of the Imminence family and to have our debut EP, entitled Empty Mirrors, released under their label in 2015.”
Jesse continued by saying: “This is the beginning of a significant chapter in our lives, and we can’t wait to share it with each and every person who connects with it, or simply wants to listen to it. No matter the reception we receive, this experience is a learning process for us at best, and anything else that comes with it is going to be considered gratifying and beneficial for our future as a band–and as individuals.”
To go along with the signing announcement, the band has premiered their new single featuring Jesse Cash of Erra. “Empty Mirrors” is the title track of the band’s forthcoming 2015 EP in which Jesse explained, “This EP has been in the works for quite a while, but we are finally wrapping things up and can’t wait to show listeners what we have put so much time, effort, and heart into. We believe it possesses the foundation on which this band was built on. Admitting our mistakes as human beings, learning from them, and making the necessary changes we need to make to move forward in our lives.”
