Ray Goren – “LA Sessions” [EP] [Album Review]
LA Sessions is the debut EP from Ray Goren, a 14 year old singer, song writer and guitar player. That’s right, I said 14 years old. I don’t remember what I was doing at 14, but I sure as hell did not have the talent and dedication to accomplish something like the LA Sessions.

These five gospel-tinged, bluesy rock songs are well-written with fantastic playing and catchy sing-along hooks. For me though, the guitar playing is well worth the price of admission alone as this kid can really play well beyond his years. The icing on the cake here is the production which was turned in by legendary producer Eddie Kramer.
All in all I highly recommend checking out Ray Goren’s LA Sessions; it really is good stuff and this kid is going to go FAR!
