The Skinny: London’s heavy metallers Savage Messiah have released a new track from their upcoming album, The Fateful Dark, which is due to be released on March 10th in Europe via Earache Records and on March 18th in the USA via Century Media/Earache Records. Listen to “Minority Of One” now just below.
Savage Messiah front-man Dave Silver comments: “The title for this song comes from a famous saying by Ghandi, who said that even if you’re in a minority of one, the truth is the truth. Which is a good message to people about breaking the mould and not getting sucked into ‘group think’ mentality. Standing up for what’s objectively right and not compromising for the sake of social acceptance. Musically, this is my favourite Savage Messiah track ever; we’ve managed to marry the thrash and heavy metal elements into a cohesive track, which is catchy and melodic, but still fast and thrashy. Enjoy!”
The Fateful Dark is the follow-up to 2012’s critically acclaimed Plague Of Conscience. Produced once again by Scott Atkins (Amon Amarth, Sylosis, Behemoth) and featuring artwork by Peter Sallai (Sabaton), The Fateful Dark promises to take the world by storm, giving heavy metal fans the strongest Savage Messiah offering to date!
