Destruction Unit – “Bumpy Road” [SoundCloud Song Stream]
Destruction Unit were named one of “The Best Live Bands” in the current issue of Rolling Stone, and you should listen to what they say, because they definitely are. It’s almost been difficult to miss their live show as they’ve been on an insane touring schedule for months, and there no end in sight as the band is set to hit the road again this month in the US and then Europe in October and they won’t be home until mid-November.
The Skinny: Destruction Unit were named one of “The Best Live Bands” in the current issue of Rolling Stone, and you should listen to what they say, because they definitely are. It’s almost been difficult to miss their live show as they’ve been on an insane touring schedule for months, and there no end in sight as the band is set to hit the road again this month in the US and then Europe in October and they won’t be home until mid-November.
Their brand new LP, Deep Trip is out on the 20th and they promptly leave for tour on the 23rd. To tide you over until then, D-Unit are sharing another single off of the LP with us today. “Bumpy Road” shows a slower side of the band than their first single (appropriately titled “The World On Drugs”) does, but somehow the intense, raw energy is still there as the guitars blaze harder than any of the riffs anyone else out there has written in a long time. Check out the single above now!

02. Slow Death Sounds
