Waters premiered the second track, “O Holy Break Of Day,” off their upcoming debut album ‘Out In The Light’ yesterday HERE. Waters – the new project masterminded by former Port O’Brien front man Van Pierszalowski – will release ‘Out In The Light’ on September 20th, 2011 via TBD Records.
Following a European tour with Wye Oak and debut US performances in New York in June, Waters will hit the road on Tuesday for a month-long set of shows. First, the band will support The Joy Formidable at Belly Up in Solano Beach, CA, on August 9th before joining Vetiver for shows at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA, on August 10th and at Sophia’s Thai Kitchen in Davis, CA, on August 11th. Waters will then meet up with Mister Heavenly for two weeks of dates, beginning at Branx in Portland, OR, on August 18th and wrapping up at Bar Pink in San Diego, CA, on September 2nd. Following these US shows, the band will travel to Europe for a run of dates that includes a September 14th show at Cargo in London supporting EMA. A full itinerary is below.
