Southern California’s Unwritten Law have premiered their new single “Starships and Apocalypse” on their MySpace page. The track is taken from Unwritten Law’s upcoming new studio album ‘Swan’, which is scheduled for release on March 29th, 2011 through BreakSilence Recordings/Suburban Noize Records.
“I think this album is hands down our best and it sits at the top of our discography,” commented Unwritten Law’s Scott Russo. “It took a long time to write this record because we were creating something real in a time when fake, bullshit, phony music rules the airwaves. For this album we had to make sure that every song was a great song and there was zero filler.”
Unwritten Law’s sixth studio album, ‘Swan’, perfectly summarizes the group’s roller-coaster career of ups and downs. These pioneers have managed to persevere through adversity at 5 different major labels, bomb attacks, house fires, and battles with addiction. Somehow through it all, Unwritten Law managed to keep it together and write one of the best records of their career.
