The video for “Bastardizer,” the second single off Norma Jean’s critically acclaimed album ‘Meridional’ will exclusively debut today, May 2nd on Alternative Press. The video was directed by Brooks Jones and shot at the band’s rehearsal space in Atlanta with additional footage shot in New York City. “Matt Mitchell [cinematographer] and I drove 15 hours from New York to Atlanta,” said Jones. “We’ve been Norma Jean fans for years, so the opportunity to direct a video for a song like “Bastardizer” was a dream come true.”
U.S. indie rock band The Airborne Toxic Event is back with their brand new sophomore record All At Once. The group had a big radio hit with the song “Sometime Around Midnight” which helped them establish themselves as one of the top up and coming indie rock groups. In support of their debut record, the band played a mind-boggling 350 concerts until the end of 2009. The fact that they even had any energy to punch out a follow-up this soon after is an accomplishment in itself.
OK Go will premiere their brand new single, “The Greatest Song I Ever Heard,” today RIGHT HERE.
