Breaking Benjamin had a packed freaking house for their show with Thousand Foot Krutch at the Best Buy theater on September 19, 2015.
The solid opening act, Ghost Town, warmed up the crowd like crazy ahead of headliners Escape The Fate and Falling In Reverse.
Radke played Escape The Fate’s debut album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, cover to cover before coming back out again to a small but wild crowd to play with his current band Falling In Reverse.
Toted as Ronnie Radke’s three ring circus, Falling In Reverse hit the stage fresh off their appearance at the heavily-attended Rock on The Range festival in Ohio.
The crowd grew quickly for the Brit-based Bush, led from frontman Gavin Rossdale, who went on at 9:40 pm and played til just before 11pm.
Having seen Stars in Stereo a few times, and never seeing Theory of a Deadman and Bush, I was anticipating a good show at NY’s Best Buy Theater.
Theory of a Deadman played extremely well on February 24, 2015 at NY’s Best Buy Theater, as the crowd grew quickly for the Brit-based Bush.
Zakk Wylde and his heavy rock band Black Label Society played to a tight crowd at Best Buy Theater the other night.
Death metal, black metal, heavy metal, call it what you want, King Diamond played to a sold-out crowd in NY, and whatever you want to categorize his music as, plain and simple… it’s great.
I must admit, I’m a huge fan of what I like to call pure rock and roll. Now many would, at least back in the ’80s, have classified a Twisted Sister concert as a metal show, but last night it was more of a straight up, in your face rock show, complete with openers Killcode and Adrenaline Mob.
The technically sound After Bridge played to a sold out and enthusiastic crowd at Best Buy Theater in NY. AB’s top craftsmanship lead by front man Miles Kennedy, whom has seemingly played with every top band in the past ten years, had amazing vocal range. Considered one of the top vocal rock talents of the grunge era, Kennendy played AB favs like “Blackbird” and “Ties That Bind” among 15 other tunes. Lead guitarist and AB and Creed co-founder, Mark Tremonti, lead the way with tight guitar licks through the set. The band will soon head out on the rest of their “Fortress” world tour before heading back to the States for a final mid-Summer show at Cadott Rock Fest in WI on July 18.
The British band Asking Alexandria played to a sold out crowd and 23 year old frontman Danny Worshop’s vocals were exceptionally sharp.
It’s a good thing I heard that In This Moment recently signed with Atlantic Records as the band may blow up before our eyes and it may be harder to shoot them.
