Montreal sweethearts Guidestones have released their new single and music video for “Ground Control.” If you’re into bike riding, then you’ll probably enjoy this one! Guidestones are a folk-inspired alternative rock group with origins in Montreal’s notorious hardcore and metalcore scenes from the mid-2000s. As the band members grew and got older, as well as the evolution of their musical tastes, their focus began to develop and mature which has led them to this point. “Ground Control” comes from the band’s new album Keeps Me Up which is a perfect example of the band’s musical growth. This could easily be the soundtrack to your summer nights at the pool or for drinking at the beach. Guidestones have big plans for the near future, including numerous shows all over Ontario and Quebec over the rest of the summer and the fall.
