Post-Punks BIG BAND Offer Some ‘Options’ with New Album Stream
Rising post-punk trio BIG BAND are now streaming their entire debut album Options.
Rising post-punk trio BIG BAND are now streaming their entire debut album Options. The ten-track LP is forward thinking in nature, yet gives subtle tributes to the classics of post-punk and no wave. After watching a live video of their track “Drunk Tank”, Connor Hanwick of The Drums was inspired to produce the album in only a week.
Options aims to be an honest social commentary on the world around us. Guitarist and vocalist Chris D’Alessandro explains: “Our Debut LP Options was made to be as confrontational and vulnerable as possible. The reason being to talk about the sort of the elephant in the room that people are all dealing with on a social level in the Information Age. I don’t feel a need to spell it out anymore than that but if you give the record the 25 minutes I think you will notice and what it’s getting at.”
Below you can find a full stream of Options. If you like what you hear, consider purchasing the album via Bandcamp right here.
