MODERN CROWDS Look Into the “Eye of The Storm” with New Song Stream
New Jersey-based alt-rockers Modern Crowds have shared new single “Eye of The Storm,” another song off of their debut, self-titled album.
New Jersey-based alt-rockers Modern Crowds have shared new single “Eye of The Storm,” another song off of their debut, self-titled album. Modern Crowds was recorded by producer Paul Ritchie (The Parlor Mob & gods) at Insidious Sound Studio in Shark River Hills.
The band’s Joe Pellegrinelli (lead vox, rhythm guitar) commented, “The lyrics are relatively sparse, but I was trying to convey a sense of looming emotion that you can’t quite escape from whether it be dread, happiness, excitement, sadness, or anger. The chorus lyric ‘but it comes back around’ is referring to the fleeting and cyclical nature of emotion and how one minute you can feel sad, the next you can be elated, and then angry or what have you.”
