The Skinny: Echo Base has released a new song called “Have You Had A Nü-Castle Brown Ale,” which is the first taste of the band’s debut full-length record, Some Legacy, due out later this year. The song is part of a compilation titled Welcome To Tallahassee!, which was released with the intention of bringing to light the tight-knit music scene in Tallahassee, FL. Although not yet well-known nationally, the indie/punk community in Tallahassee (along with the general central/north Florida region) is producing a wide range of exciting young bands. Groups like You Blew It! (Orlando), Dikembe (Gainesville) and Frameworks (also Gainesville) have been among the latest to gain critical acclaim from the region.
