We’ll Go Machete is an Austin, TX rock band with early 90’s influences such as Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, and Tanner. You can hear the DC and San Diego influence, but they have stepped away from many of the post-punk guidelines to construct a newer and compelling sound.
The Skinny: We’ll Go Machete is an Austin, TX rock band with early 90’s influences such as Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, and Tanner. You can hear the DC and San Diego influence, but they have stepped away from many of the post-punk guidelines to construct a newer and compelling sound. Past shows include ones with Future of the Left, Fatal Flying Guillotines, The Melvins, Heroin Sheiks, Plastic Constellations and Hammerhead.
Strong Drunk Hands is the follow up to their well received self-titled EP (2009). The album was recorded in May 2011 by Matt Smith at EAR studio in Austin, TX and mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago, IL.
