Charlie Risso Reveals “Alive” Single from Her Forthcoming Album
Today, Charlie Risso unveils “Alive,” the lead track from her third studio album of the same name, due for release on German label T3 Records on April 26th in CD, LP, and digital formats.
Commenting on her new single, Charlie states:
“‘Alive’ is a heartfelt song that delves into feelings of loneliness and longing. In the midst of a lonesome haze, the desire for connection and the touch of a loved one becomes a beacon of hope. The song beautifully explores the sense of being alive when surrounded by someone’s warmth and presence. With its poignant melody and evocative lyrics, ‘Alive’ is an anthem of embracing life, dancing in the sweet melody of love, and finding solace in the power of being truly alive.”
Charlie Risso is a singer-songwriter of Genoese origins, musically raised between Milan and London, cosmopolitan, and with a captivating and melancholic sound. Perfectly bilingual, the English in her songs gives the project an international scope, allowing Charlie to erase any geographical boundaries.
After releasing her EP The Light in November 2022, she announced the release of Alive. The album is a collection of ten intense ballads ranging from folk-soul blues to singer-songwriter tunes, guided by the influence of David Lynch. Each track is a portrait of those often conflicting emotions that characterize the human soul and shape an intense album that accompanies the listener into the depths of Charlie Risso’s music.
