Crystal Joilena Releases Dark Pop Single ‘The High Priestess’
Alt-pop solo artist Crystal Joilena debuts her new single The High Priestess. The emotive track and nuanced lyrics delve into Crystal’s exploration of spiritual awakenings, shadow work, connecting with your higher self, and the truths and secrets behind the false representations of all things.
The song is an ambitious pushback to the negative constructs of the corporate music industry as an empowering anthem to return to our true selves. After gaining notoriety for her soaring covers of Motionless in White and Evanescence and her collaborations with Bad Omens bassist Joakim Karlsson, Joilena is showcasing a new side of her musical repertoire and storytelling capabilities.
