Fresh off his GRAMMY sweep for his assured masterpiece MICHAEL, Killer Mike has announced the much anticipated North American leg of his ‘Down By Law – Summer 2024 Tour,’ backed by his choir, The Midnight Revival. The tour will make stops in Canadian cities, including Vancouver – Vancouver Jazz Festival (June 29th), Montreal – Festival International de Jazz de Montréal (July 3rd), Quebec City – Festival D’Ete (July 5th), Ottawa – Ottawa Blues Fest (July 6th), Toronto – Danforth Music Hall (July 7th), and Winnipeg – Winnipeg Folk Festival (July 12th).

Coinciding with the announcement, Killer Mike has unveiled a celebratory new video for the album’s unabashed Atlanta anthem, “EXIT 9” (feat. Blxst). The video depicts Blxst and himself breaking bread with the mayor and making the rounds to notable ATL landmarks, from the Cascade roller rink to the Blue Flame. The video concludes with audio from Mike’s GRAMMY acceptance speech for ‘Best Rap Album,’ where he emotionally declared, “You cannot tell me that you get too old, you can’t tell me it’s too late, you can’t tell me that dreams don’t come true!

The tour marks Mike’s first major U.S. run since last summer’s ‘High & Holy’ tour and his recent GRAMMY sweep, in which he won awards in all three major rap categories: Best Rap Album for MICHAEL, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS (feat. Future, André 3000, and Eryn Allen Kane). Between the stunning vocal talents of The Midnight Revival and the gospel-infused sounds of his recent material, the live show delivers a catharsis that led the Chicago Sun-Times to declare that “it sure felt like we were at services.” The unique talents of The Midnight Revival also recently figured prominently in a cathartic performance of “Exit 9” to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
