Brett Benowitz Reveals Latest Single “Just Hold On”
Brett Benowitz brings an empowering new track, filled with positive energy and heartfelt lyrics in his exciting new single, ‘Just Hold On.’
LA-based, blues-rock artist Brett Benowitz releases his exciting new single, “Just Hold On.” Both a thought-provoking songwriter and toe-tapping melodist, Benowitz brings an empowering new track, filled with positive energy and heartfelt lyrics.
“Just Hold On” is a hard-hitting blues-rock track that centres around looking for the good in a bad situation and knowing better days are to come, a message that’s needed now more than ever in what feels like a seemingly divided and crumbling world. The track is backed by Jimi Hendrix-esque guitar licks, thundering drum beats and driving basslines that act as a foundation for Benowitz’s emotive vocal performance.
Speaking further on the track Benowitz comments “Iʼm trying to offer hope that it will get better, this is just a passing phase. We keep looking for all the answers, but the answer is you, it is within you, so just hold on.” The track offers a a respite between the darkness of our own minds, spreading comfort in the uncomfortable feelings we all too often feel.
Raised in a small town in Georgia, Brett Benowitz’s music is often best described as The Red Hot Chili Peppers meets The White Strips, offering up high energy, soulful, funky rock tracks. Known for his commanding stage presence, Brett honed his skills in the vibrant music scene of New York City for eight years before making the move to Los Angeles where he swiftly rose to prominence by winning a worldwide contest with Fender, earning him recognition as one of their featured recording artists. Since then Brett has continued to captivate audiences performing sold out shows at notable venues such as The Viper Room, Hotel Cafe and Molly Malone’s.
In just a few short months, Brett has made an undeniable mark on the LA music scene, emerging as one of the most exciting and promising rock acts in town. With a relentless drive and passion for his craft, Brett plans to conquer Los Angeles with a series of new releases and monthly shows.
