Stevie D Premieres the Music Video for His Stirring Single “Without You”
Singer-songwriter Stevie D teams up with MiG Aysea and Eryn for the music video for his moving new single “Without You.”
While he’s usually focused on making others sound and look good, Stevie D is stepping into the spotlight with his new single “Without You.” Today marks the debut of the emotional new song. It is a rousing, uplifting, powerful number, complemented by the talents of MiG Aysea and Eryn.
Stevie and Eryn really feed off each other’s passion, a stirring and inspiring vocal performance from each of them. It’s a hard-hitting song, gripping in many respects, and something different from what you’ve come to expect from Stevie. It’s a more melodic, poppier, and stirring song than his more rock-infused back catalogue that he has put together over the years.
Discussing “Without You,” Stevie states:
“This is a true story that looks at a relationship from the perspective of the caring and love you have for that person and how you cherished the time you spent together and facing the reality that you won’t be together forever.”
Calling New Jersey home, Stevie D, or Stephen DeAcutis, has etched out quite the career for himself as both a songwriter and producer. For about 40 years, he has been working out of his Sound Spa Productions studio in Edison, New Jersey. It is here he has developed quite a reputation as a studio specialist. Working here has really helped Stevie evolve as an artist. At Sound Spa, he writes music for his own songwriting career and polishes and hones the sound of others. It’s an impressive list of credits that he has built up. The list includes Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osborne), Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath), Bon Jovi, and Cyndi Lauper.
When he’s not lending his studio expertise to others, he’s acting as a multi-instrumentalist. One of his finest moments came with the release of his 2019 album Torn from the Pages. It was a collaborative effort with Living Colour frontman and virtuoso vocalist Cory Glover. There have been many fine moments along the way for Stevie D, and we feel like there are probably some even finer ones upcoming.
