NNAMDÏ Drops “Going Crazy” Single; 2024 Tour with Hurray For The Riff Raff
NNAMDÏ caps his busy 2023 by releasing a new track called “Going Crazy” and announcing a 2024 tour supporting Hurray For The Riff Raff.
In the wake of his last LP, Please Have A Seat, NNAMDÏ, Chicago’s most prolific musical auteur stayed busy in 2023, crisscrossing the country on a headlining tour, performing at festivals in North America, Germany, and Poland, touring with Joy Oladokun, releasing a track with Florida rapper Big Baby Scumbag, starting a podcast, and starring in an independent film, amongst other endeavours.
Today, NNAMDÏ caps his busy 2023 by releasing a new track called “Going Crazy” and announcing a 2024 tour supporting Hurray For The Riff Raff.
About “Going Crazy,” NNAMDÏ says:
“The song is about finding inspiration in the madness. Trying not to lose your mind when so many things feel out of control. It’s about embracing those heavy emotions and channeling them into something productive and positive. This song is exciting to me because I made it from a video of my little niece and nephews playing an out of tune ukulele and stomping around their house. They were chanting this mantra and I became obsessed with it. They often like to make up funny songs and sometimes I’ll add music to them. This is one of the few that the world gets to hear.”
