New York-based rock quintet, KILLCODE unveils the music video for their single, “Ride,” produced by Joey Zampella. The song is lifted from the band’s latest album, Life, Death, Rock N’ Roll (Mother West), and the video was directed by David Swajeski. We recently reviewed a single here.

Founded by vocalist/frontman Tom Morrissey and guitarist Chas, the two laid down the foundation of the band with a couple of tracks they recorded at their home studio. After listening back, they knew they were on to something big! Next up would be recruiting long-time musical companion Eric Bonesmith on bass guitar and Rob Noxious on the drums to complete their rhythm section. Eventually, second guitarist DC Gonzalez was added to the lineup. DC, known as lead guitarist for the rock band Panzie, has proven to more than just fit in, his style reinvigorated the band.

The band comments:

“With one last shot at redemption, a man returns to the scene of happier times, to turn back the years, and reclaim his winning ways. Haunted by opportunities lost, and memories of a past life, will one spin of the roulette wheel bring back all that he lost? Life is a journey full of choices and sometimes you make the wrong ones. You play the hand you’re dealt, no matter what the odds. Quiting is not an option. We never know what twist and turns will happen next. But in a city that never sleeps there is a fine line between dreams and reality. Sometimes the only option is to spin the wheel and let it ride. And just maybe lady luck will push things your way.”

Since the release of the new album earlier in 2023 and the world back to the new normal, KILLCODE isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. They’ve been playing shows in the Northeast and just returned home from the UK where they performed at the Hard Rock Hell Festival, and are ready and able to take their rightful place alongside the biggest rock acts out there.
