Hungover just released their latest groovy pop-rock single, “Shake It Off,” alongside an upbeat music video and highly anticipated album announcement. The band is releasing their forthcoming album, When It Touches The Heart, Everything Resolves, on February 16, 2024, via Smartpunk Records.

The new track encapsulates the perfect glimpse into the album’s mashup of pop, punk, and rock while the lyrics tell the story of the band’s tumultuous journey of challenges and resilience that has led them to this milestone.

Marc Cortes, the band’s vocalist, commented on the new release.

“Anyone who has been a fan of Hungover since the beginning knows that it has been an interesting journey with a lot of ups and downs. Joseph Luca has shared the newest installment in his three-part EP series, PART 2: Ouroboros (Death), out now via ONErpm. The new five-track project follows last year’s entry, PART 1: Ouroboros (Life).

Via PART 2: Ouroboros (Death), Luca embarks on an introspective odyssey, navigating a profound shift from idealism to realism amidst the intricate realms of Love, Loss, Life, and Death. This segment unfurls as a deeply personal expedition, charting Joseph’s inner struggles and triumphs within a complex tapestry of emotions and experiences.

At the core of Luca’s journey lies a series of poignant moments, where the collision of his ideals with life’s stark truths serves as the beginning catalyst for deep self-reflection. His once unyielding idealistic perspective begins to fracture when confronted with the profound depths of life’s challenges.

It’s a journey steeped in introspection, where Joseph confronts deep-seated fears, insecurities, and long-held beliefs, leading him toward an unburdened and authentic self. Ultimately, “Ego Death” surfaces as a central theme in PART 2: Ouroboros (Death). Luca undergoes a profound shedding of outdated perceptions and attachments, cultivating a newfound resilience rooted in the acceptance of life’s impermanence. This theme highlights the intricate dance between upheaval and personal growth, emphasizing the immense capacity within individuals not just to endure but ideally, to evolve.

PART 2: Ouroboros (Death) Track Listing:

1. I Can Pull You Up
2. Peter
3. Just Go
4. Dirty Laundry
5. My Best Dancing Shoes

This is not a self-celebratory message. This is not a reunion. This is not even a proper press kit. These lines are just to communicate details related to the production of a record. Because Three Second Kiss is back after 12 years with a new work. An infinite amount of time when compared to the times of the contemporary music market. A chasm. But what was up to Three Second Kiss?

“In fact, we never stopped.” comments the band, talking about what is about to become the new chapter in their career. Twelve years between their previous: “Nine tracks that do not pick up the band’s musical discourse where it was left off. At least to our ears it doesn’t sound the way we were.” stress the members of Three Second Kiss.

As active as the trio was initially, in 1993, Three Second Kiss is happy to share the details of their signing announcement:

“We are happy that this album is coming out on Overdrive Records. We believe that the people who work there are driven by a sincere passion for the most direct and incisive music. We got to know some members of this family and we think we share the same musical history; we grew up with the same sounds and a sincere and unmediated attitude towards the musical world.”

After all, the time issue has never been a concern for Three Second Kiss, who has always operated autonomously and independently. This time, however, time has run fast. And there is not much to say about that. The members stress:

“These are the pains (many) and joys of adult life. We stopped when life forced us to stop. We regained purpose and cohesion when environmental circumstances and harmony got flowing again. And from the chasm, we have risen again.”

Three Second Kiss would release their newest LP, From Fire I Save The Flame later this year. Follow the band on social media and subscribe to Overdrive Records to get all the newest details.

Esteemed punk act Bayside is thrilled to announce their forthcoming album, There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive. The highly anticipated record serves as a follow-up to their dynamic 2019 release, Interrobang, and features tracks from the previously released The Red and The Blue EPs as well as six brand new songs. These new songs see the band continue to captivate with a mix of introspective storytelling and a powerful blend of punk, rock, and metal. There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive is set to leave an indelible mark on the music scene, solidifying Bayside’s position as one of the most influential bands of their generation.

Fans can stream Bayside’s haunting new single “The Devils” and can pre-save/pre-order There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive, out digitally on April 5th and physically on May 10th.

On the new single, frontman Anthony Raneri shares:

“We just wanted to write a ripper that keeps you on your toes. The chant was a melody that I kept humming to myself when I was walking my dogs. I put some words to it and we were going to use it as a bridge. We loved it so much we thought the song had to start that way.”

Fans can hear new music live for the first time on Bayside’s forthcoming North American headline tour. The Worse Things Than Being Alive tour, kicking off on April 3rd in Pittsburgh, features support from Finch, Armor For Sleep, and Winona Fighter.

Raneri adds:

“We’re so excited to be touring with a couple of real pioneers in this genre. It’s been close to 20 years since we played a show with either band. So excited to finally run it back.”

Additional stops on The Worse Things Than Being Alive tour include Baltimore, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, New York, and more. Tickets, including VIP packages, are on sale now at: www.baysidebayside.com.
