Pop-punk stars Sum 41 drop new single “Landmines” the first music on new label Rise Records. Check out the music video here…
Grammy nominated band Sum 41 make their return with “Landmines”, their newest single and first release on Rise Records.
The single is a testament of going to hell and back for the ones that matter and is paired alongside a brand new music video that finds the band transforming prom from the class of 1998 into a raucous rock show-turned-food-fight, as Sum 41 and their fans head back to the early days of their career with the pop punk legends making sure they go out with a bang.
Check out the video here:
Speaking about the single, frontman Deryck Whibley said:
“When I wrote “Landmines” I had no intention of writing an old school “pop punk” song. It just came out really quickly and I knew right away that this song felt special to me.”
Next month, Sum 41 will be performing on October 21st and 22nd at When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is also performing a set at a sold-out When We Were Young Sideshow on October 20th at Brooklyn Bowl alongside Bowling For Soup, Plain White T’s, Your Broken Hero, and more. The band will head to European shores in 2024 to play a sold-out show at La Defense Arena in Paris, France on the November 24th, 2024.
