Jeshua Marshall Confirms Second Album ‘The Flood’; Fall Supporting Tour
Jeshua Marshall, announces his second LP ‘The Flood’ anticipated for release on September 22nd, with supporting US tour!
Jeshua Marshall of Larry and His Flask announces his second LP, The Flood, anticipated for release on September 22nd. Marshall has co-produced The Flood with Todd Rosenberg, who also engineered and recorded at FUZZ Phonic Studios in his hometown of Bend, Oregon. A special vinyl release for The Flood is also available HERE. Jeshua also boasts a 15-city tour to support the new album. Jeshua Marshall will travel from Idaho and wind south through various southwestern states through California.
The Flood features Jeshua on vocals and guitar, Seth Acquarolo on guitar and keyboards, Davey Hemm on bass, Todd Rosenberg on drums, Miguel Mendoza on trumpet, and Wendi Wampler on clarinet. Also being pressed for vinyl, the sounds run a gamut, from the brass-infused reggae of the aptly-titled “Swing” and the sway and saunter of “Agua Es Vida” (a duet sung in Spanish with guest vocalist Yanin Saavedra) to the sultry and sensual stride of “Wave,” the energized and upbeat “Closed Doors” and the sprightly sound of “Ride.”
This fall, Jeshua and brother Jamin Marshall reunite for their first major tour since the Flask days. The group will head out as a trio, a pulsating Marshall stack on drums and bass augmented by Seth Acquarolo on guitar. In addition to dates throughout the western U.S., the group will showcase during AmericanaFest in Nashville on 9/21 and round out the first slate of dates with a brass-enhanced quintet for the Cascade Equinox Fest, which sees the group share a 3-day lineup with Pretty Lights, Goose, Big Wild, Fruition, Trevor Hall, Phantogram, LP Giobbi and more. Check out Jeshua Marshall’s tour dates below; information about events & tickets are available HERE.
