Multi-Genre Talent Sanjay Releases Uplifting New Single “Waiting For The Sun”
Ahead of his debut album, ‘Ancestral Visions’, multi-genre talent Sanjay has released his new single “Waiting For The Sun”.
Mashing up bendy, pulsing electronic, and live musicianship, rising, multi-genre talent Sanjay gives the world a first taster of his debut album Ancestral Visions in the form of uplifting new single “Waiting For The Sun”.
Having remixed the track twice, firstly a soul-funk inspired rework by ViVA label head Steve Lawler, then a French house inspired re-rub by Hungarian artist, Myon, the track can now be heard in all its experimental, indie dance glory right here:
Residing in the Joshua Tree desert in California, Sanjay is still a relatively new name by all accounts, but the innovative artist has been winning fans since the release of his debut Initiation EP in 2021.
The new single showcases the best of both worlds from Sanjay’s studio – his love of bendy, trippy electronic sounds, through to his skills as a guitarist and pianist.
The single also provides a great teaser for Sanjay’s debut album Ancestral Visions this November, which combines pop culture and spirituality, drawing inspiration from Nine Inch Nails, Prince, Tame Impala, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Neil Young and Kanye West.
