Lily Mae Harrington Releases Her 5-Track EP ‘The Sun is My Lover’

Lily Mae Harrington has released The Sun is My Lover, a five-song EP which boasts layered vintage vocals that would make The Andrews Sisters blush and beachy guitar licks that could make the Beach Boys turn green with envy with a title track that answers the question: what if Sheryl Crow’s “Soak Up The Sun” and Cardi B’s “W.A.P.” had a baby?

“The Sun Is My Lover” is the type of grin-inducing play-at-max-volume jam necessary to achieving climax – sorry! – we meant “peak summer vibes.”

Lily is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and actor whose mastery of melody and undeniably catchy hooks blend to create a signature cocktail, equal parts ballad and banger. While her sound has influences from Carole King to Haim; Janis Joplin to Brittany Howard, her look is all her own, and she can currently be seen on Hulu’s popular Freeform series Single Drunk Female where she plays fan favourite Felicia and also on NBC Universal’s The Glee Project and the indie darling Some Freaks.
