Blitz Union emerges as a beacon of authenticity and liberation in a world saturated with conformity, where society demands perfection at every turn. This Czech EDM rock quartet has firmly established their position as one of Europe’s most enthralling live bands, captivating audiences with their mesmerizing performances and unwavering passion. With two highly acclaimed EPs and their debut album Absolution earning accolades from fans and media alike, Blitz Union is set to take the stage at some of Europe’s biggest summer festivals (Votvírák, M’Era Luna, Mix Music Fest, and Amphi Festival), and they do so with their exhilarating and thought-provoking new single, “Freak Anthem.”
“Freak Anthem” fearlessly challenges the suffocating pressure to conform, urging individuals to embrace their true selves, even if they feel like unconventional outsiders. Whether it’s defying societal norms through fashion or finding contentment in one’s own skin, the song delivers a resounding message—embrace diversity and celebrate our innate uniqueness. Blitz Union beckons for empathy, fostering an environment that transcends judgment, where personal journeys are embraced and celebrated.
With Prague and Berlin as their creative sanctuaries, Blitz Union poured their dedication into crafting an extraordinary sonic experience in “Freak Anthem.” The accompanying music video is a visual masterpiece, featuring each band member embodying a different “freak” archetype, powerfully accentuating the song’s empowering message. Notably, mastering the track was entrusted to the skillful hands of David Gnozzi of Mix Bus TV, ensuring a production that matches the band’s boundless energy and unrivalled creativity.
Lead singer Mark Blitz, the charismatic force behind Blitz Union, passionately proclaims:
“In our own way, we are all essentially freaks. And we want to invite our fans to join the Blitz Union Movement.”
