Sasquatch Spotted in Calgary. Here’s Proof!

Calgary is THE place to be this weekend for all lovers of heavy music! The Electric Highway Festival is hosting three nights and 24 bands at Dickens Pub on March 23, 24, and 25.

The Electric Highway 2023 Festival

Back in 2019, a band called Sasquatch from Los Angeles took the stage at Calgary’s 420 Music & Arts Festival… now renamed The Electric Highway Festival.

Well, this band put on such a killer set that they are headlining the festival on March 25th along with 23 other bands on the 3-day event.

Check out Sasquatch spotted playing back in 2019 for the first time at the fest!

And don’t forget to get your tickets while they’re just a few left – click here to purchase.

To get you hyped-up, check out the curated Spotify playlist of bands performing on the 2023 edition of The Electric Highway Festival.

The 2023 edition of the festival focuses on Desert rock and metal, Doom, Sludge, Heavy Psych and has expanded to include some punk and hardcore bands as well.

The festival features Californian headliners Sasquatch, one of the festival’s past favourites, laying down their brand of fuzzy, kick-ass desert rock & heavy psych with direct support from Vancouver’s La Chinga, returning for their 4th appearance on Saturday night. Black Mastiff returns to headline Friday night with Calgary’s Gone Cosmic, and HypnoPilot headlines the Thursday show with support from Citizen Rage. These are just a few of the wicked bands that will be playing at The Electric Highway. The full lineup can be found below.
