Dead Bars have announced tour dates for this summer, and YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE COOL: VOL 1 – a compilation mixtape that looks back at b-sides, demos, past bands and projects from Dead Bars while also highlighting material from their friends, heroes, and gods. Featuring 25 unearthed and unreleased songs from the Dead Bars Universe spanning the last 20+ years and including the HIT 2022 DEAD BARS SINGLE Philadelphia. This tape is a perfect companion to Freakly Digest and the DBU. To be released on cassette in May 2023 on Dirt Cult Records.
2023 marks the 10-year anniversary of the group and starts the next phase of the Dead Bars story. To kick things off, they will release a mixtape of tracks spanning 20+ years of music from the DEAD BARS UNIVERSE titled YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE COOL: VOL 1. And recently, there is a Superfan Mascot named BUZZD who is running around Seattle partying and praising DEAD BARS. Check out the BUZZD story @DeadBars
