Michael Dean Delivers Devotion with His “Girl Next Door” Single/Video Premiere
With a slick R&B rhythm and smooth vocals, Michael Dean’s “Girl Next Door” single/video premiere touts devotion and admiration for that special lady in his life.
If you’ve ever had a thing for the girl next door (or maybe down the block), then you’ll be able to relate very well to Michael Dean’s brand-new single. Along with the single release, we are excited to help unveil the accompanying music video for “Girl Next Door,” the second track from the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album Top Gun.
The song is pretty self-explanatory when considering its title, but more specifically, it’s a tribute from Dean, meant for that special person in his life. With a slick R&B rhythm and smooth vocals, Dean expresses his devotion and admiration for that special lady that means so much to him.
In reference to the song, Dean tells us:
“Sometimes love is closer than you think, the ‘Girl Next Door’ (laughs).”
“Girl Next Door” is the follow-up to the album’s first single “Roller Coaster,” which examined the ups and downs of a relationship. That tender pop sound and style are becoming synonymous with Dean, which is quite a change from his musical past.
Growing up, he was essentially a hip-hop fanatic and was signed to Money Hogg Gang Records as a rap artist in 2018. Top Gun will be the young musician’s first pop full-length and will showcase a completely different side to him as an artist and a songwriter. It took a lot of courage to completely change his musical style, but it’s paying off for Dean, as we approach the release of Top Gun later this year.
