Party Time! Lady Rage Premiere Their Rowdy “Lie In My Bed” Music Video
Lady Rage is having quite the shindig, and by the looks of their new music video for “Lie In My Bed,” they are not holding back!
You’d assume that a house party that involves a game of Monopoly and ordering a pizza would be pretty tame… Well, think again, because Lady Rage is having quite the shindig, and by the looks of their new music video for “Lie In My Bed,” they are not holding back!v
Coming at you with some very ornery, riot grrl intensity, this all-female quartet is going all out in this new clip, with drinks galore, water gun fights, confetti flying, and coffee tables full of… blow? Yep, it’s a party tonight!
Frontwoman Siren Sycho was kind enough to share her own thoughts, stating:
“We are Lady Rage, the heaviest sound in high heels and we are back with a new music video for our latest single ‘Lie In My Bed.’ We are ready to unleash this dark twisted love song onto the world. Get ready for some noise because life’s about to get loud.”
Lady Rage is a band defined by that classic, punk rock ferocity, that was typical of the genre in the 1970s and 1980s. Lead singer Siren Sycho is one of the smoothest female lead singers you’ll encounter, born to rock out and scream her ass off, with all the rebellious, fractious bitterness that she can conjure up. Aside from its unrivalled intensity, their sound is defined by its aggressive classic punk riffs, no holds barred, nearly violent drumming courtesy Dee Chi Manic, and that thrashy brutality that only the true riot grrl acts are capable of.
They’re becoming well known in their native England and completed a Northern tour last year that included stops in Manchester, Rotherham, Newcastle, and Shrewsbury. They have some shows coming up and will be making their presence felt in the debut at Rebellion Festival in August in Blackpool. Buckle up, because these are some merciless chicks that are ready to rock your ass off.
Tour Dates:
08/06 – Rebellion Festival, Blackpool, UK
08/27 – Cart & Horses, London, UK
09/30 – Vortex, Wakefield, UK
10/29 – Fiddler’s Elbow, London, UK
11/18 – Alberts Shed, Shrewsbury, UK
11/19 – The Hive, Rotherham, UK
11/20 – The Spinning Top, Stockport, UK
