Lorna Shore, Hatebreed and more Confirmed for Bloodstock Open Air 2022
Bloodstock Open Air confirms deathcore favourites Lorna Shore and hardcore heavyweights Hatebreed for 2022. Read more here.
With the dust still settling at Catton Hall after a hugely important Summer for Bloodstock Open Air and live music, the team wasted no time in whetting appetites for the 2022 weekender by announcing Lamb of God and Mercyful Fate as two of the headliners. Today, Bloodstock have followed up that announcement with the news that twelve more bands have been added to a bill that already also includes Dimmu Borgir, Testament and Bury Tomorrow.
Grabbing a Ronnie James Dio main stage slot on Saturday are Jinjer who were foiled at the last moment this year with visa and travel issues. Also joining the main stage bill on the Saturday are New Jersey deathcore squad Lorna Shore who will be arriving at Catton Park on the back of their stunning …And I Return To Nothingness EP.
Finally grabbing a main stage spot on Saturday, are Finnish metal squad Lost Society who recently re-signed to Nuclear Blast with the promise of new music on the way and Misfits man Doyle who will be bringing his solo project to Bloodstock.
Landing the Sophie Lancaster stage headline slot on Saturday are circle pit kings and Bloodstock favourites, Hatebreed! Before that though, Friday’s Sophie Lancaster stage headliner are the phenomenal, anonymous collective Sleep Token. Check out our review of This Place Will Become Your Tomb, released last Friday by Spinefarm.
Elsewhere, snagging a Friday slot on the Sophie stage are New Orleans sludge kings, Eyehategod who will be supporting their long awaited new album, A History of Nomadic Behavior, legendary punk squad Dishcarge and Richmond VA’s crossover death/thrash terrors Encforced.
Rounding out the latest announcement, ‘party slam defenders’ Party Cannon have reconfirmed for 2022 while Swedish prog metal supergroup Soen join the line-up on the Sunday with goblin-fronted band Nekrogoblin set to kick things off on the Thursday night.
Tickets for Bloodstock Open Air 2022 are on sale now from the Official Bloodstock Website.
