The “Highway of Love” Leads to True Romance for RubyGld Smoke

Pop music duo RubyGld Smoke released their music video for the song “Highway of Love” from their recent debut album Revolutionary Love on December 10. The song is about exploring the journey of dating and searching for the truly right people. The visual portrays the story of two people on their own journeys. “Sometimes we find our way and other times we’re still searching,” says RubyGld Smoke. “No matter what it’s your journey.” The music video is directed by RubyGld Smoke and produced by their award-winning film company Quiet Kingdom Media Group, with cinematography by Korrigan Agen.
The duo emphasizes how everyone needs special people, whether it be friends or romantic partners. “Highway of Love” discusses all the misses and fails that people experience along the way that cause them to learn, grow, and move closer to their future. RubyGld Smoke recalls their favorite lyric line as “Find me on the road less traveled. I don’t wanna engage in war no more, on the highway of love. Won’t you pick me up on the highway of love?”
Entertaining the masses with their retro pop music and making marriage look sexy again is only a slice of what this iconic power couple has to offer. Terrance and Dani Jo Williams (RubyGld Smoke) are the entrepreneurs of Quiet Kingdom Recordings and Quiet Kingdom Media Group (film company). The duo is also the founder of Symphony Of Change Inc. – an arts education organization dedicated to equitable arts enrichment programs throughout the US.
When Dandria Dani Jo Williams met her husband T. L. Williams in early 2014, it was clear from the jump they were made to do something big together. Their undeniable chemistry was evident even as T. L. embarked on an initial solo career, garnering over 3 million streams with hits like “Gettin Mo Money Than You” and “Melanin”. Meanwhile, Dani Jo was a behind-the-scenes contributor through the entirety of T. L.’s 6 album solo run, co-writing songs and adding vocals. The couple, feeling like it was finally time, has now come out front together with an eclectic mix of pop-soul energy a la “Rose Royce”.
