Dre DiMura’s New Single Suggests You “F.Y.I. (Fuck Your Influence)”
Dre DiMura, the Los Angeles-based solo rocker and touring guitarist, just dropped a new track titled “F.Y.I. (Fuck Your Influence)” and it rips; A very different vibe from his last single, “But, I Love You.”
Touching on the tune, DiMura shares, “‘F.Y.I.’ is an uptempo neo-90s burner that evokes the sonic ferocity of artists like Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden and Marilyn Manson with modern themes. Features; fuzzy guitars, nu-metal percussion and primal talk/sung vocals.”
“F.Y.I.,” which questions influencer culture and both its social and mental health-related impact, marks the fifth single the artist had produced by Jukka B (Nik Mystery, Veil of Maya). DiMura is a guitarist for Diamante and tours with acts such as Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, and Underoath.
