The Bay Area blackened doom metal band Barren Altar have a new album titled Entrenched In The Faults Of The Earth and they are streaming the new track “Nexus of Grief.” The album was recorded last summer with Greg Wilkinson (Graves At Sea, Necrot, Vastum) at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, California and gives you five new tracks of sonic desolation. Of the overall theme of the album, the band quickly said, “It’s a metaphysical plea for the voluntary end of all human life, pressed to plastic, and added to the ever-growing dumpster fire that is the modern world.”
