Yet another reason to celebrate 4/20 this Friday (that means April 20th, ya noob!), the Brooklyn-based Brazilian/American rock quartet Added Color will release their brand new Mr. Industry EP. Tons of addictive groove and catchy hooks, the five-track recording will, much like the album opener, lead to many a worth “Panic Attack”. Available via all major DSPs, you’re best off hearing Mr. Industry via the guys’ Spotify profile…. OR, even better, right here with our exclusive premiere!

Mr. Industry follows 2017’s debut EP, Psycho, and was recorded by Jamie Uertz (Blind Melon) and Grammy-nominated Johann Meyer (Gojira) at Brooklyn’s Silver Cord Studios. Moreover, Added Color will support the new music with a string of Moroccan tour dates, with U.S. shows to follow.

Commenting on the album and meaning behind its concept, the band left us with these thoughts:

“Mr. Industry is a personification of the music and arts industry in general. The character represents the corporate mentality that has taken over the industry in a time where it is going through a crisis. Mr. Industry cares only about putting artists in a creative box and marketing them. Basically, if you sound like everyone else, it’s easier to associate you to other acts and sell you. The idea behind the EP connects with our overall message, which is about being yourself at all times no matter what. Mr. Industry is the force that we are fighting against as we live for honest and original music.”
