The Melvins have put out a new track called “Stop Moving To Florida” from their new record Pinkus Abortion Technician. The album feature’s two bass players this time, Steven McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!) and Jeff Pinkus (Butthole Surfers).
Regarding the song, it’s a medley of the James Gang’s “Stop” and the Butthole Surfers’ “Moving To Florida.” Buzz Osborne recently explained, ““I wanted to do the song ‘Stop’ but I didn’t want to do all of it and I LOVE ‘Moving to Florida’ so ‘Stop Moving To Florida; seemed perfect.”
