Known for the comedic phenomenon that is Trailer Park Boys, creator/director Mike Clattenburg is once again bringing his ruthless comedy chops to the small screen. Teaming up with fellow TPB collaborator Mike O’Neill, the duo are set to return with their gut-busting new comedy Crawford which debuts on February 2nd via CBC TV App.

Crawford stars Jill Hennessy (Law & Order) and John Carroll Lynch (Zodiac, Gran Torino), and is a quirky comedic series wherein, “raccoons invade the world’s most functioning dysfunctional family’s home.” We don’t want to give anything else away, but for a deeper synopsis, hit this link.

Clattenburg also enlists a roster of both hot talent and TV veterans, including Executive Producer Laura Michalchyshyn, well-known for green-lighting Trailer Park Boys. Beyond that, Michalchyshyn has made a name for herself Executive Producing documentaries and mini-series including powerhouse titles like Chicagoland, All The President’s Men Revisited and Death Row Stories.

Sure, you can expect top-quality content loaded with laughs and oh-so-perfect awkwardness, but Crawford is NOT Trailer Park Boys. This is a must-watch show for anyone into an unusual series loaded with eccentric characters, a bizarre plot, and perfectly-peculiar humour.
