GLENN HUGHES Confirmed as Saturday Night Headliner for STEELHOUSE FESTIVAL
Steelhouse Festival, which will take place over the weekend of the 27th – 29th of July 2018, has just announced Glenn Hughes as one of their Saturday night headliners
The 8th consecutive Steelhouse Festival, which will take place over the weekend of the 27th – 29th of July 2018, has just announced one of their Saturday night headliners. In a UK festival exclusive, Glenn Hughes will perform “Classic Deep Purple – Live”. Hughes was, of course, part of the classic MK III and MK IV line-ups of the band who released the genre-defining albums Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste the Band.
In a statement made about the set-list the bassist/vocalist said, ‘‘I’m incredibly excited to get out there and play tracks like “Burn”, “Mistreated”, “Stormbringer” and “Getting Tighter”, as well as some of those older songs that helped define the genre. With this band, I can assure you of a concert that’ll blow your mind.”
Hughes’ Steelhouse appearance will be the first time that fans in the UK will have an opportunity to see ‘The Voice of Rock’ perform an entire set of Purple classics.
Of his Steelhouse Festival appearance Hughes added, ‘I’m really looking forward to this…Come see me up the Mountain…Peace, love and remember, music is The Healer’.
Steelhouse Festival takes place at Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm, Ebbw Vale with more information available at the Official Steelhouse Festival Website.
