Get Drunk on Scottish Rocker SWYM’s New “That’s So Drugs, Man” Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]
Scotland’s SWYM is a purveyor of fine “odd rock”, the likes of which you can find on the honest, real and definitely drunken new “That’s So Drugs, Man” video.
Aberdeen, Scotland’s SWYM (aka Nassif Younes) is a purveyor of fine “odd rock”, the likes of which you can find on his new Your Distraction EP which dropped on November 17th. With mastering handled at Fluid Mastering via Nick Watson (Deep Purple, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac), this in and of itself should make you take notice. If not, well, then maybe this honest, real and definitely drunken music video of the “That’s So Drugs, Man” single will get your jimmy’s all swimmy.
Reflecting on the video clip, Younes shared: “The video was last minute so the concept was pretty simple – get my friends drunk and film them with prisms. Two of the girls even started kissing and we had it on camera. If it was the 90s I’d have put that all over the video but times have changed (for the better!) so I just left in the lead up to it before switching abruptly to the line about feminism. It was probably more tasteful that way.”
Your Distraction EP Track Listing:
01. Up To You
02. Black Wine
03. That’s So Drugs, Man
