Engulf – “Subsumed Atrocities” [EP] [Album Review]
Both songs provide you with pure death metal bliss. They are monstrous tracks, full of power, depth and incredible musicianship. Engulf is the real deal!
Following the incredible two-track EP released by Aborted earlier this year, Engulf thought they’d get in on the action and release one of their own. Subsumed Atrocities is brutal, great fun and over far too soon.
There are only two tracks on the EP — “Aeons of Hate” and “Graviton” — and it’s all over before nine minutes have even passed. Both songs provide you with pure death metal bliss. They are monstrous tracks, full of power, depth and incredible musicianship. Engulf is the real deal!
The beauty of this EP, however, comes from its price. Subsumed Atrocities has been released for free. Nada. Zilch. You certainly get bang for your buck here. If you’re anything like me, you will wish there were more to the EP than just two tracks. Thankfully, Engulf is set to release two more EPs, before eventually releasing a full-length record. My body is ready for anything the band wants to put out in the near future.
Subsumed Atrocities Track Listing:
01. Aeons of Hate
02. Graviton
