Brooklyn’s Dead Leaf Echo have released the track “Sunlessoul,” which comes from their new second album Beyond.Desire. The album was recorded with legendary My Bloody Valentine engineer Guy Fixsen and Jorge Elbreht (Ariel Pink, No Joy.) There are clear 4AD influences on the album with the band pushing the boundaries and forging their own sound while embracing the music they grew up on.
“Sunlessoul” combines upbeat melodies with lyrics about the loneliness of life and some darker components of the human condition.
