One-woman black metal force Ieschure has debut her new track “What Waits in the End” from her debut album The Shadow. Ieschure, real name Lilita Arndt, began working on this project in early 2016 in her native Rivne, Ukraine. Her lyrical themes focus on occultism, witchcraft and death, you know, typical black metal stuff that all the metalheads love.
The Shadow is 34 minutes of melancholic and nostalgic work of pure black metal that could have been released 25 years ago. It’s unapologetically raw in sound and nature and is a true revalation in a world of music that can be very dry and repetitive at times.
