California five-piece Waters have released a stream for “Stand By You,” another new song off of Something More! due out on May 19th. The album is the follow-up to 2015’s What’s Real. The band wrote and recorded the album over the past year in Los Angeles after touring with the likes of, Tegan and Sara, and Matt and Kim.
Regarding the new song, lead singer Van Pierszalowski commented, “Stand By You’ is about young love in a claustrophobic small town where you can’t even go to the grocery store without gossip following you and where it can feel like everyone is against everyone else. It is about building a wall around that relationship and living only in it and for it letting everyone else fuck off.”
