King Buffalo, the Rochester three-piece whose brief discography, a 2013 three-song EP titled Demo and a 2015 split 12” with Le Betre, will self-release their debut album, Orion, on August 5th, 2016. Stream the track above and be sure to check out pre-orders available right here.

“Orion is the culmination of months of crafting, recording and mixing in our practice / recording space in Rochester, New York,” drummer Scott Donaldson explained. “We’ve developed a sound that feels familiar, but is dynamic and unrelenting. As musicians we’ve learned to embrace the hills and valleys of each piece and try to complement it. To finally have these songs available and cut to wax is very exciting. It’s the best stuff we’ve ever done, and we can’t wait for people to hear it.”
