Rollercoasterwater, fresh off the premiere of their new single “Avey Tare Said” are gearing up to release their latest EP Umami Sounding Fireball on April 15th. Captivating from the first sounds of “Avey Tare Said”, inspired by a chance encounter with Avey Tare of Animal Collective, to standout track “Trying to Maze”, the EP moves you more in 18 minutes than most albums do in an hour.
The creative combination of electronic music and live instrumentation gives the EP marries the dynamics of live bands with the open-ended palette of synths.Umami Sounding Fireball was produced by Ian Gibbs (Vinyl Williams) and Chuck Behring of Rollercoasterwater; and mastered by Alan Douches (Animal Collective, Yeasayer, Beach Slang).
