The Skinny: As excitement and anticipation builds for the new release Tales from the Deadside, A Sound Of Thunder unveil the new audio track “Tremble” – listen to the song in its entirety below.
A Sound of Thunder guitarist Josh Schwartz comments: “‘Tremble’ is the name of one of the big villains in the Shadowman comics [on which the album is based]; an ancient voodoo spirit inhabiting a human host, spreading fear wherever he goes, and inciting people to do terrible things because of that fear. He’s a monster, so we wrote a monstrous song. ‘Tremble’ is basically music to crush/kill/destroy…heavy groove meets grinding riffs and sinister vocals. Alternatively, if you own a Panzer tank, this is a good song to play when you take to the streets and start crushing cars beneath the treads. We also had a ton of fun recording this one, especially [ASoT vocalist] Nina, whose vocals are infused with black magic, ancient spells, vodka…and just a hint of King Diamondy cheese for good measure. Play it loud; do neck damage.”
A Sound of Thunder will release Tales From The Deadside worldwide via Mad Neptune Records on September 25th.
