MEGOSH Announces Spring 2015 U.S. Tour; Premieres “Clarity” Music Video
Megosh have announced spring 2015 U.S. tour dates and posted the new music video for their cover of “Clarity” (Zedd).
Megosh have posted the new music video for their cover of “Clarity” (Zedd). The video, filmed on location in Baltimore, MD. and edited by Matt Gischel, aims to depict a darkness to our country and it’s denizens.
“We went to the heart of Baltimore and started filming homeless people ‘living’ on the streets,” adds guitarist and vocalist Josh Grosscup, “…(we wanted) something even more raw than that, so we filmed a young couple doing drugs.” The video, featuring Matt Halpern of Periphery on drums, depicts a darker and more emotionally driven side of the band than anything they have previously released.
Along with the debut of their new music video, Megosh is proud to announce dates for their 2nd Crash Your Couch Tour. This 19 date tour, starting in Lancaster, PA on March 29th and ending on May 6 in Millersville, MD, is a self made tour of their own design. Piggy backing on the success of their first regional Crash Your Couch Tour, Megosh has set an unprecedented example of a band’s passion for putting fans first. The tour, which puts the band in fan’s living rooms to play acoustically and spend the night with these adoring followers, has grown into a personal obsession for the band. “The tour is so exciting! We can’t believe we are capable of doing a full U.S. couch tour,” opines Josh, “The fact that we have the fan base to pull this off is a true blessing!”
