Hardcore band The Fifth Alliance is proud to offer you a free download of their latest track titled “Unrevealed Secrets Of Ruin.” The group formed in late 2006 in the underground of Breda, Holland. They initially took their inspiration from bands such as Coalesce, Botch, and Converge which resulted in The Fifth Alliance’s self-released EP Fear Consumption in 2007. They followed up this momentum with their 2009 follow-up EP Reflections On Consciousness and along with playing many shows, the band really started to hit its stride.
In 2010 and 2011, the group persevered through a couple of setbacks, including band members leaving which caused them to re-focus their musical energy. Armed with a new rhythm section, the new incarnation of the group slowly started to write new songs and look further into sludge and doom metal for inspiration. By last summer, The Fifth Alliance had started to write their very first full-length record which became Unrevealed Secrets Of Ruin. The album deals with many interesting topics such as isolation, loss, self-destructive nature of man, organized religion and blind consumption. The album drops in April 2013.
