We are stoked to bring you the premiere of the video for the song “Dead Friends” by Kentucky-based rock band Uh Huh Baby Yeah!. No doubt a fitting video to debut on Halloween, watch as the dead come alive. The band partnered with Skyscraper Filmworks and used footage from two different locations for the video; one of which was shot during their Louisville Zombie Walk.

The basic premise is that zombies are taking over the human population and UHBY! are just hanging out with them (hence all my friends are dead). “We made it a little politically charged, showing us picketing for zombie rights among other things”, stated lead singer Kevin Fletcher. The second location was in Otisco, IN where Sean’s family owned some property. Fletcher continued: “We staked out this dark and eerie house which was over 100 years old for our performance shot playing on top of debris, trash, and other remains from the house”.

Born in 2003, V13 was a socio-political website that, in 2005, morphed into PureGrainAudio and spent 15 years developing into one of Canada's (and the world’s) leading music sites. On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
